Camp Mojo Challenge...
Every month in the lead up to Camp Mojo there is a challenge. This month the challenge was to create two ATC's with collage backgrounds. I have never attempted an ATC. So why not give it a go. This is my challenge entry.
The first one was one was done using Tim Holtz Tissue Tape as a background. I have used Tea Dyed Distress Ink over the top. I have also used a sticker from the Time Holtz Salvage Lost & Found stickers.
The second one was also done with the Tim Holtz Tissue Tape. With this one I have coloured it with the new Distress Stains. These are fantastic to use and I think that I am getting addicted to them. I have also used a Tim ticket and some trim to finish it off.
I really enjoyed doing these they are great fun.

Contemplation...
This layout was based around a photo that my brother took at my wedding. It is one of my favourite photos of our special day. I actually used an iphone app to do the layout for this photo The app is called Sketch2Scrap.
I have used a few different embellishments on this layout. I have punched out several butterflies from the back of the papers used in the layout. I have also used the Tim Holtz trims and coloured them using his new Distress Stains.
I have also used this journalling down the side of the photo. It is actually a Tim Holtz stamp from his new stamp set called Stuff to Say. I just love the set and this one in particular.

Spending time with donna downey...
I have had the most FUN week ever!! This week I have been fortunate to have donna downey teaching at Pages 2 Scrap. She is such an amazing, talented and inspiring artist. We had so much fun in the three days before she had to teach. We went to the Hunter Valley for a visit to some of our local wineries.
I also took donna to the Repile Park. It was so much fun showing donna the kangaroos and koalas and other Australian animals. She was a little worrid when this very scarey kangaroo 'charged' her!
Classes finally got started and we all had so much fun. We had 6 different classes over the weekend. I was so pleased to get to do one of the classes and to have to opportunity to have donna sign my journal. Got to love the look on her face.
Kim Price thought that it would be a lovely idea to make donna a little gift to take home with her. Kim is so talented and I am so glad that she took time to make this. donna was so happy to receive this gift.
The most exciting thing about all this is that donna will be back in March 2012. I can't wait.
Thanks for stopping by.

Tag with new Prima Vintage Trinkets
On Friday night we had a staff scrap night. We get together now and then and just chat, scrap, eat, giggle and this time one of us even danced!! It was a great night.
We have just got the new Prima Vintage Trinkets in at Pages 2 Scap. I just love them. I thought I would make this cute little tag. I have used a Donna Downey stamp by Unity. We sell all of these products in store.
I have used one of the Vintage Trinkets to decorate the dress form. I just love it. The dress form is from the Kaisercraft Wood Flourises range (Mannequins). I have just used Antique Linen Distress Ink to colour it and then added the Vintage Trinket.

Re-purpose, Re-think, Re-invent
I am starting another online class at the end of this month. Big Picture Classes is a great place for online learning. This will be my second class online.
I am doing a 12 week course with Jenni Bowlin. The course says that it will take you through her creative processes, ultimately leading you to a greater understanding of what makes you tick creatively. Through projects, creative challenges, and field trips, you will not only be inspired, but motivated (there is a difference)! Inspiration serves no purpose if you don't know how to use it, so this class will show you how to use your inspiration! Get ready to turn in your permission slip and embark with Jenni on this creative journey that will surely take your next memory project to a whole new level.
I am so excited about this course. I just love to push myself to try new things.
Thanks for stopping by.

Cards by me...
Well I am not a card maker (as you can probably tell!!), but I still have a go every now and again. A while ago I was playing with some papers that I had in my stash and decided to make a couple of cards.
There was a bit of fussy cutting in this card to cut out the flowers but I do love the effect. I just love the saying too. This is a great saying for a Mother's Day card.
This was a very quick and easy card to throw together. I used a Darkroom Door Robot Photo Chip that I had in my stash. I then used distressing tools to scratch up the image. The Photo Chips are great to have in your stash.
Thanks for stopping by.

Just love Tim's Work
One of my favourite blogs to watch is that of the wonderful Mr Tim Holtz. He is so inspirational. Every time I watch his blog I just want to go and scrap. In his blog he made this cute mini book out of 1 piece of 12 x 12 pattered paper and some of his Tissue Tape. I had to try it.
So this is my attempt. I am really happy with it. It is still a work in progress but I just had to show what I have done so far. I can see that I will be using this technique a few more times. I think this makes a great little memento book.
Every second page is a little pocket. I have put in a tag with a great verse stamped on it. I have also put in a ticket with an important date on it. I have used a Swivel Clasp to join the front and back cover.
On the back page I have used Type Charms to add a little more dimension. This little book is just so easy and fun to decorate.
