Sisters...
Just thought I would show you another simple 8.5"x11" layout that I have done. In this layout I have used the Bo Bunny Gabrielle Collection. This has to be one of my favourite collections from the Bo Bunny range. I just love the warm colours and the papers are stunning.
I have used a photo that I really love. This is my mum's wedding and these are her sisters. Lynn is the lady holding the baby and Andrea "Flo" is the baby. It is such a lovely photo and works so well with these papers.
I have used a Marth Stewart Deep Edger Punch - Doily Lace Trim to make an additional element to the page. I have also used an offcut of the same cardstock to use to make my title.
This range has some stunning embellishements. This butterfly is from 12" Chipboard and is so easy to use because it has adhesive on the back.
I am so loving doing simple and easy layouts.
Thanks for stopping by.

Canvas with Nathalie Kalbach...
We were lucky to have the talented Nathalie Kalbach come to Pages 2 Scrap to teach her Free Your Creativity Canvas. I was so glad that I got the chance to actually do the class too. The class was totally amazing and so much fun. I learnt so much about all the Tattered Angels products. Glimmer Mist, Chalkboard Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glam & Glimmer Glaze. We got to use all the products on this canvas which is way cool.
We used Glimmer Screens and Gesso to create some cool dimension to the canvas. I just love the way that the Glimmer products pool in the lumps and bumps on the canvas. I just love how all the colours interact with each other and how they blend together to create new colours.
We also got to use the georgeous products from Vintaj Natural Brass Co. We now have a great range of these in store at Pages 2 Scrap. It just amazes me what a difference adding these to the canvas can make. We still have a few of the kits left in store. I think I will be getting another one.
Thanks for stopping by.

Got Your Nose...
I have to say that I really love doing 8.5" x 11" layouts. I had a friend come over on Friday night to do a little crafting and well after we stopped to watch the royal wedding it was getting pretty late. But we said that we had to atleast finish something. So once I finally picked a photo that I wanted to scrap and realised that it was already 11.30pm, I decided to do a 8.5" x 11" layout.
I just find this size layout nice and easy to do. I just love this picture of Will getting Joe's nose. It is just so cute and the look on Joe's face is so soft and gentle (the real him).
I have used Jillibean Soup Monster Stew papers and cardstock stickers. I wanted this to be a very simple and basic layout (I was very tired).
The cardstock stickers in this range are fantastic. I used the letters for the title. I mixed both upper and lower case in the title. After I did the title I wanted to add a little something extra but did not want to overdo it. So I decided to just make some little spots using my journalling pen. It is amazing just want a difference it can make.
I again used the cardstock stickers on the bottom section of the layout. I mounted the stickers with mounting squares to add a little dimension. I then used my journaling pen to make more dots and some doodles.
Thanks for stopping by.

My first ATC Swap...
We decided to have an ATC Swap at the shop. What is an ATC you say? ATC is a short way of saying "Artist Trading Card". Generally, it is a small piece of art measuring 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", or approximately 6.5cm x 9cm for us metric girls. ATC cards can be created using just about any media you can imagine, from paints to paper, inks to pencil - the sky is the limit!
This was my ATC for our challenge.
I used a white Dabber to colour the edges of the card, then used Distress Inks to colour the cardstock. I used a Donna Downey Unity Stamp as the flourish. I also used a Tim Holtz stamped senitment. I then used a Tim Holtz butterfly die and punched out some vintage dictionary paper. I attached the butterfly with a Tim Holtz paper clip.
There were seven of us in the swap and these are the others.
They are all so fantasic. I cannot wait for another swap.

In the park...
It has been so nice to have some time off over the Easter break. It was so great to have a day where we could take the boys down to the park and play.
Charlie loved this little ride. He also loved climbing around on the ropes.
Will was just like a little monkey climbing all over the ropes. He was brilliant and got pretty high!!
And the best of all...... Joe started to walk on his very own!! Isn't it amazing? We are so happy that he has started to walk again.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

Easter is coming....
Wow can you beleive that Easter is nearly here?? Where is the year going?? The day I promised the boys that I would help them to make Easter baskets. Got to have somewhere to put all the Easter Eggs that that little while bunny leaves behind.
So today we took the boys to the shop and sat down and had a fantastic time making Easter Baskets.
They all worked so hard to decorate their baskets.
Charlie loved using all the heart shaped bling.
We even made little eggs for them to put in their baskets. Will did a fantastic job decorating his eggs and basket
Joe did a fantastic job with his eggs and basket too. He is so good at colouring in the eggs and making great patterns on them.
Here are their finished baskets and eggs.
Even Daddy got to make a basket. He is just so clever!!
I hope that you all have a fantastic and safe Easter.

I just love looking at other people's scrap spaces. I find it very interesting to see what cool ideas people have for the area they scrap in. This is my scrap space. YES I have taken over the dining room!!
We had this great cabinet made for our dining room. It is a fantastic storage unit for my scrap supplies now. One of my favourite storage ideas is the black and white fabric storage boxes from Ikea. They are perfect for storing embossing folders, stamps and dies.
This is one of the units that we sell in the shop. They are a great way to store my paper storage boxes (also sold in the shop). It is amazing just how much you can fit on top of it!!
What is your scrap space like?
Thanks for stopping by.
