All about Green.

I so love just sitting down and staring to play in my art journal.  I never know exactly what I am going to end up with.  I love that you can put so much emotion into a page and not even really know it.  This page makes me feel like I am drifting away.

I have used Dylusions Inks, Stamps & Screens.  I have also used a White Sharpie on the eyelashes and head piece.

I just love this toadstool stamp and I used Gesso over the top to add a little bit of dimension.

Here is another page.

I love this ghosting technique.  I find that I am using it over and over.

PanPastel fun

I just thought I would share a page from my art journal using PanPastels, stamps and clear embossing powder.   I really do love the colour red.  It is such a passionate colour.

Here is some close up detail.

I really love how the embossing powder looks on top of the PanPastels.

Just a quick post to share..

Stuffing around with more Tags..

On Anzac Day I was stuffing around with tags as I was waiting for a page to dry.  This is what I came up with and I have to say that I really love it.  I love the colours and the depth of the tag.

Here is a close up of the detail.

I thought that I would try the technique that i used in the first tag and see if I could get it to work again.  This is what I came up with.

Here is a close up - you can see the stamp in the bodice.

Again you can see the stamping detail in the tag.

Thanks for stopping by.

Another page to my journal...

I am having so much fun with art journalling.  The Dylusions ink, stamps and stencils make it just so easy.  I love how you do not have to be perfect.  I love embracing imperfection.  Make a mistake and use that to accent your page in some way.

Even missing parts of the stamp make the page its very own.  I love looking at all the layers in a page.  I have to say that I go back several time and add little bits here and there.

Missing something?  Do you ever feel like you have lost your head?  Love this.

More Art Journal...

This is another page that I have done in my art journal.  I am having so much fun.  It is great to just work on a page and not really know what it will look like at the end.  I totally love the Dylusions stamps.  They are so different and fun.

I just love how this one turned out.  I added a Tim Holtz mini cog to add a little but extra.

I have used some masking tape which I have stamped on as part of the page.

Tags with Dylusions Inks...

I just love playing around with tags and new products.  Dylusions inks are my fav at the moment.  I thought I would try something a little different.  I stamped the butterfly's using Archival ink.  I then used the the new Tim Holtz Water Brush by Range and dipped it into some of the ink that I sprayed onto my non-stick craft mat.  I then coloured the butterflies.  I then used my blending tool to colour the rest of the card.

This tag shows the amazing colours of the inks.  I also used the Picket Fence Distress Stain to stamp the little while flowers.

I just had to test out some of the Dylusions stamps that I have too.  They are so much fun to play with.

Art Journal..

I have started to do a little Art Journalling.  I went to a friends out on the weekend and I thought that it was a great time to start working some more in my journal.  This is the first page in the journal.  I have used a mix of stamps, distress markers and Dylusions inks.

Here is a close up of the first page.

Here is a close up of the second page.

I decided to use a piece of masking tape that I had stamped some flowers on.  To make it blend more into the page I did a little bit of doodling around it.  I just love the eye stamp (Dylusions).  I used the Picket Fence Distress Marker to colour the white of the eye.  Just love it.
